In honor of Women’s History Month, Aoifa O’Donnell, President & CEO of National EAP (NEAP), participated in the NY Alliance (https://www.nyalliance.com/) Executive Leadership Panel—an inspiring gathering of accomplished leaders dedicated to advancing meaningful dialogue around leadership, growth, and collaboration.
Aoifa joined fellow panelists Bonnie Bakshi (f/k/a Hemrajani), Debra Olshan Cooper, Robin Fisher, and Caroline Gadaleta for a thoughtful and energizing discussion on leadership in today’s evolving professional landscape. Together, they shared personal experiences, professional insights, and reflections on the challenges and opportunities that shape their work and leadership journeys.
Moderated by Mia R. Imbesi, the session encouraged open dialogue and authentic storytelling, creating a space where panelists and attendees alike could reflect on the power of leadership rooted in empathy, resilience, and connection. The conversation highlighted not only individual paths to leadership, but also the importance of mentorship, collaboration, and supporting one another across industries and roles.
For NEAP, the event reinforced a core belief: that strong leadership is deeply connected to emotional well-being, workplace culture, and the ability to foster environments where people feel supported and valued. Aoifa’s participation underscored NEAP’s ongoing commitment to workplace mental health and to advancing conversations that help organizations better support their people.
The event was both inspiring and energizing, leaving attendees with renewed perspective and appreciation for the shared experiences that unite leaders across sectors. NEAP extends sincere thanks to the NY Alliance for hosting this meaningful program and for creating space for important conversations that elevate and empower women in leadership.
At its heart, the panel was a celebration of connection, learning, and the power of bringing diverse voices together. NEAP is proud to be part of a community that continues to champion leadership, inclusion, and shared growth.
