Throughout the month of October, National EAP took action to address food insecurity in our community by hosting a Virtual Food Drive in support of Island Harvest Food Bank, Long Island’s largest hunger-relief organization.

At National EAP, our mission extends beyond workplace well-being—we are committed to supporting the communities where our employees and clients live and work. The Virtual Food Drive allowed participants to contribute from anywhere, ensuring that donations could be collected safely and efficiently while making a meaningful impact on families and individuals facing food insecurity.

Thanks to the generosity of participants, the drive collected an incredible 308 pounds of food, all of which was distributed directly to those in need. This contribution provided essential nourishment to neighbors across Long Island and served as a powerful reminder that even small actions, when combined, can create significant change.

We are grateful to everyone who joined us in this effort and invite others to support future initiatives that address critical community needs. Together, we can work toward a future where no one in our community goes hungry.
