Thriving During Change and Transition
RIF’s (Reduction in Force) and corporate mergers take a toll on the overall well being of employees and company morale, despite the long term strategy in the business decision. Organizational change at this level usually breeds paranoia with anxiety and stress levels skyrocketing as employees worry that their position and safety in employment is threatened. It is essential for leadership to put a plan in place to address the human impact of the change event.
If your organization faces a challenge posed by Reduction-In-Force (RIF), National EAP’s Reduction-in-Force Program covers your organization through the RIF cycle, including pre-planning, the on-site event and post-RIF services.
National EAP staff will partner with HR or management to support the planning process and be onsite to provide training and counseling. Engaging EAP to support your organization through change is an excellent strategy to guide your personnel before, during and after a transition to provide customized support and resources tailored to your organization’s needs. National EAP offers post RIF EAP counseling for its members for 90 days to support and assist them through the difficult transition in their life.
